Saturday Fun

After a few weeks of being really busy with Sarah’s birthday, work and the Easter holiday, we finally got a chance to relax on Saturday. In the morning, we drove out to Michael Tully Park in New Hyde Park to meet up with friends for a few hours of tennis and other activities. The great thing about that park was that the tennis courts were right next to a covered picnic area and a kiddie play area with slides and jungle gyms and all sorts of kid goodness. A bunch of people met up with their babies and spouses. We all enjoyed getting a bit of exercise while the kids got to meet new friends and play on a beautiful day. Although, Blanka and I planned only to stay a few hours, we spend most of the day there. Check out the pics from the park here.

We then headed back home east to clean up for Tomer and Michelle’s housewarming party out in Queens. After only an hour home, we were able to shower, dress, give Sarah a nap, feed her dinner and be out the door. Sarah really enjoyed being at this housewarming. She got to meet and play with their 2 dogs. And although they were very cute, Sarah couldn’t get enough of them. She kept screaming and chasing the dogs every which way.
