Bath Time
Sunday, June 29th, 2008 | Uncategorized | No Comments
Sarah had her first “real” bath today. We took the infant holder off the bathtub and we put Sarah in. She really liked being in the water and didn’t cry at all. In fact, she seemed to be more comfortable in the warm bath.
Visit and BBQ

What a great day. Earlier this morning Sarah was visited by Uncle Steve and Auntie Irene. They came early in the morning bearing food and drink. We all hung out for a few hours chatting about life’s happenings. Soon after they left, Blanka and I got Sarah ready for a bbq at my boss’s house in Suffolk county. It was really hot and humid out with a threat of a thunderstorm, but the rain held off long enough for us to fill our bellies with clams, shrimp, sausage, and chicken. Sarah was such a good little girl in the new environment. She met so many new people today and she proved that she was a real social butterfly.
12 Weeks and Back to Work

Blanka went back to work today. Although she was away from Sarah for a full day, both Sarah and Blanka were okay at the end of the day. I’m sure they both missed each other very much.
3 Month Checkup
Tuesday, June 24th, 2008 | Uncategorized | No Comments
Sarah went for her 3 month check up early since Blanka was going to start work on the 25th. A week shy of her 3 month birthday, Sarah weighed in at 13.6 lbs. and measured 24 inches. Sarah also got a few more shots, but it didn’t agree with her too much. A few hours after Sarah got home, her leg swelled up at the shot area and she had a slight fever. Blanka gave her some baby tylenol and Sarah calmed down a bit. At night, she still wasn’t feeling well since she seemed restless while in her crib.
Baptism

Sarah had her baptism this Sunday. She was such a good little girl at church. She didn’t cry or fuss and was attentive all service long. It was a small affair, but very memorable. A big thanks to Sarah’s godmother, Maggie, her husband, Chris and Maggie’s mom for flying all the way from Florida to attend the baptism.
Pictures from this blessed event can be found here.

I know I haven’t updated the blog in a while, but it’s been crazy busy at work. Father’s day was awesome. I had such a great day playing with Sarah and watching golf.
I’m very happy to announce that Sarah slept through the night last night! She slept from 8:30pm until 5:30am!
